Sun Resorts has announced a few appointments in its properties and at its Head Office.
After spending ten years in hotel operations, Nicolas de Chalain will move back to Sun Resorts Head Office and is appointed, as from 2nd April 2013, Chief Sales Officer. Nicolas de Chalain was previously General Manager of Long Beach.

In his new capacity, he will be responsible for the implementation of Sun Resorts’ Digital Marketing strategy, Marketing Services, Regional Sales as well as sales and promotions of Groups and Events.
“Nicolas actually started his career at Sun Resorts as Sales Manager for Groups and Incentives. I am very pleased to have him back in my team and have no doubt that in his new role, he will contribute even more to the development of Sun Resorts,” says Arnaud Martin, Chief Marketing Officer.
Alessandro Cabella, lately General Manager of La Pirogue, has been seconded to the Maldives as General Manager of Kanuhura, one of the most commended resorts in the Maldives. Alessandro will take up his duties as from 28th March 2013.
Clency Romeo has been appointed, as from 1st March 2013, Resort Manager of La Pirogue. He joined Sun Resorts in April 1989 and was Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Assistant Manager at Le Touessrok in 2005 and 2007 respectively, and recently Resident Manager of La Pirogue.
Vladimir Scanu, General Manger of Kanuhura over the last two years, will take over as General Manager at Long Beach as from the 1st May 2013. Vladimir joined Sun Resorts as Vice President Food & Beverage Operations before being appointed Resident Manager at Sugar Beach.
Marc Amelot has been appointed as Island and Golf Course General Manager as from 1st April 2013.
