The Rezidor hotel group celebrated a successful, motivating start to the 2013 financial year. Under the motto “On the Road to 2015”, the participants set the tone for further success in Central Europe in the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Dusseldorf. For the first time in the history of the Rezidor Hotel group, 160 European general managers and sales managers working for the Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson brands met for the first Area Central Europe Sales Meeting 2013.

The meeting, which was made up of 1,000 speed dating sessions each of 15 minutes, was based on four pillars: connect, engage, influence, integrate. In addition, focus workshops and talks were used to show opportunities and ways to strengthen and expand the market position. The innovative food range Brain Food supplemented the sessions. Cooperation partner RWE presented an electric car exhibition and offered test drives. RWE charging stations for e-cars with green energy in the garages of Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels in Germany are part of guest services.

As part of “Think Planet”, the Area Central Europe Sales Meeting 2013 was carbon neutral. In order to balance out the 22 tonnes of carbon dioxide, 22 trees were planted in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya.
