The newly established Myanmar Tourism Federation (MTF) launched its international division recently in an effort to position the country as a new MICE destination in Asia.
Tin Aung Lynn heads the international division, while DM-ID Holland, a leading brand consultancy firm and a subsidiary company of WIR Group, will provide support as MTF’s strategic partner to manage the international outreach program.
Greenland Group, one of the largest real estate company in China, owns the two new hotels to be operated by the Spanish chain in China, under the Meliá Hotels brand, the Meliá Jinan and Meliá Tianjin, and has further hotels in the planning stages.
The partnership represents the entry of a newly created 100% Chinese hotel brand in Europe, as well as the further consolidation of the expansion strategy of Meliá Hotels International in China
