The countdown has begun for TRAVEL TURKEY İZMİR 2012, Turkey’s gathering point of tourism professionals to take place between 6th-9th December 2012, this year’s partner country: Montenegro and partner city: Kastamonu. This year’s exhibitors benefits from the support of KOSGEB (Small & Medium Enterprises Development Organization) and IZTO (İzmir Chamber of Commerce).

A joint organization of TÜRSAB, İZFAŞ and HANNOVER MESSE INTERNATIONAL ISTANBUL Travel Turkey İzmir 2012 this time is aiming to expand its frame and attract a larger influx of international visitors. Moreover, with KOSGEB supporting the fair for the first time, local exhibitors will benefit from KOSGEB support up to 100 square meters.
Travel Turkey İzmir 2012, which targets to create new cooperation agreements for tourism industry and thus contribute to Turkey’s promotion, has also captured an international limelight. While South Korea, Maldives, Oman, Serbia, Macedonia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Uzbekistan are fresh exhibitors, the fair has also attracted growing attention from abroad year by year. More than 750 exhibitors of the show are coming from Greece, Croatia, Malaysia, Northern Cyprus, South Korea, Indonesia, Germany, Oman, Maldives, Jordan, India, South Africa, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Turkey, Macedonia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Montenegro.
Like in the previous years, the fair will host many delegations and press from different countries. Supported by Turkish Airlines, the fair’s long-standing sponsor, this year’s fair is welcoming its delegations from Canada, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Spain, Italy, Uganda, Russia,India, Denmark, Indonesia, and USA.

Travel Turkey İzmir has in years become a hotspot for the industry’s professionals, attracting exhibitors from over 50 destinations in Turkey. The conference program, which will be held by ETIK (Aegean Touristic Hotels and Investors Associations) this year, tackle all the recent news and developments in the Turkish tourism industry with participation of sector leaders. Besides conference program, there will be an International Culinary Competition organized by Turkish Federation of Cooks parallel to our fair in Hall 5 Atlas Pavilion.
Organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the fair will introduce the variety of the tourism services of different 20 countries as well as Turkey’s tourist attractions, primarily all about İzmir, and destinations to local and international tourism investors, agencies, as well as buyers and visitors planning for a holiday.
