Argentina covering a wide geographical area from north to south in South America will introduce its natural, historical and cultural riches in 2013 EMITT Fair as the guest country. The latest link of intimacy between Turkey and Argentina will be the 2013 EMITT Fair and it must be remembered that there is no visa application between Turkey and Argentina mutually.
Argentina will make the scene in the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair (EMITT) as the guest country between the dates of 24th and 27th January 2013. Tourism professionals visiting the fair and visitors who want to learn more about Argentina will have the opportunity to explore the hidden treasures of Argentina which is one of the most colorful countries of Latin America.
Ekin Fair Director, Hacer Aydın who expressed that Argentina is well-known in Turkey with its football and tango said that Argentina has very important natural, historical and cultural riches as well as its football and tango which has international reputation and added that visitors who will visit EMITT Fair will be in surprise when they see the riches of Argentina.
The two countries are not far but too close to each other
Aydın who stated that there are cultural and social similarities between Turkey and Argentina despite of being in two different continents said that Argentinean tourists understood this intimacy and the number of Argentinean tourists who came and visited Turkey have been increased by 30% and exceeded 27.000. Hacer Aydın added that they want to see more Turkish tourists visiting Argentina and emphasizes that 2013 EMITT Fair will contribute Argentina on this issue.
Aydın who expressed that those who want to visit Argentina would be better to spare more time to this country highlighted that Argentina have colorful and vibrant social life as well as natural riches such as glaciers, whales, seals and penguins in Patagonia region, Cordoba Sarmiento Park, breathtaking Iguazu Falls which is one of the new 7 Wonders of Nature, Salta Cafayate, Pucara de Tilcara, La Isla de los Lobos (Seal Island), UNESCO World Heritage-listed lakes of Lago Argentino and Lago Viedma. Aydın, expressed that Turkey and Argentina are closer in terms of transportation with the beginning of one stop flights bewteen two countries in December 2012. Expressing that the distance between Argentina and Turkey will be shortened by flights that are carried out by Turkish Airlines (THY), also said that traveling will be more comfortable for those who wants to visit this unique country of Latin America.

Aydın stated that Buenos Aires is a unique capital city for music, entertainment, fine cuisine, dance and football lovers and emphasizes that those who visits Buenos Aires can never forget the world famous night clubs, entertainment overflowed the streets of Palermo and San Telmo neighborhoods, bohemian Caminito Street located on La Boca district, fabulous Government House-also known as Pink House, famous Colon Theatre, the best examples of architectural contrasts between European buildings and the new tendencies, such as areas like Puerto Madero, a new district in the city alongside the Plata River, and Argentinian steak. Aydın adds that football enthusiasts will be able to see La Bombonera Stadium of Boca Juniors and El Monumental Stadium of River Plate which are the giant football teams of Argentina known by all around the world.
The 5th Biggest Fair of the World
