From the outset Conventa has been successfully working on gaining the attention of key meeting industry players; turning their focus to the region of South East Europe. In 2013 this main professional meeting industry gathering, offering meeting professionals a chance to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business, will celebrate its 5th anniversary.

From 16 to 17 January 2013, Conventa will bring together over 120 meeting industry providers from South East Europe and more than 240 carefully selected hosted buyers from all over Europe. Exhibitors and hosted buyers, meeting up in Ljubljana, will be able to enjoy a range of services enabling them to focus on building a network of potential partners in a business friendly environment.
“The fact that I come to the Conventa show and find all the partners in the region at the show, means I can do in an hour, maximum two days, what would take me five days or even more to do as I would have to travel among other countries in the region. So in this way I can bring the South East European countries together; all the partners are at the table and I can seal the deal in a couple of hours,” enthuses Linda Pereira, Senior Partner and CEO of the L&I Communications Group.
Following the most successful form of selling and building personal relationship with meeting industry clients, the focus of Conventa trade show will stay on prescheduled one-to-one business appointments between hosted buyers and exhibitors; whereas hosted buyers attend a minimum of ten one-to-one appointments per day.
