Effective 16 April, Stephan Sondermann assumed the position of Director of Sales at the 4-star superior design hotel andel’s Berlin. With commitment and creativity, the 37-year-old Sondermann and his 7-member team are handling all of the sales activities in one the largest conference and event hotels in the German capital, near historic Alexanderplatz square.
The native of Bad Harzburg in central Germany previously served for more than 4 years as Director of Sales & Marketing at the Kempinski Hotel Bristol Berlin. Mr Sondermann possesses extensive sales and marketing experience in the luxury hotel segment and boasts the best references. Before moving to Berlin, he was Director of Group & Convention Sales with responsibility for the events business of the Grand Elysée Hotel in Hamburg. He then gained profound knowledge of the Berlin market working various positions at a number of Berlin hotels. These include his commitment as Director of Convention Sales for the Steigenberger Hotel Berlin as well as his activities in various banquet and sales position at the Mövenpick Hotel Berlin and Hotel Palace Berlin. Further stations in his career which have contributed to his detailed expertise, in particular in the MICE segment, include Düsseldorf, Baden-Baden and Dortmund.
The hobby marathon runner is pleased to be working for the andel’s Hotel Berlin.
