Dusseldorf – Las Vegas starts 10th May. Winter flights to Los Angeles and more frequent flights to Miami
airberlin continues to expand the Dusseldorf International airport as a hub for flights to North America. Starting 10th May 2012, Germany’s second-largest airline will connect the city on the Rhine to Las Vegas through twice weekly nonstop flights. With 24 weekly nonstop flights to North America, airberlin offers the most comprehensive flight options from North Rhine-Westphalia to the United States and Canada.

North American flights remain a focus of the 2012/13 winter timetable as well. For the first time, airberlin will fly nonstop from Dusseldorf to Los Angeles three times a week this winter on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, thus ensuring good connections year-round to the West Coast. Also this winter, airberlin takes off to Miami six times a week adding two more frequencies to the flight schedule.

airberlin CCO Paul Gregorowitsch said: “airberlin continues its growth at Dusseldorf International Airport with particular emphasis on expanding flights to North America. This also benefits passengers from the neighbouring Netherlands, who increasingly use airberlin’s services at Dusseldorf airport. “
