Kempinski is a German hotel chain – originally set up as a wine bar in Berlin – founded in 1862 by Berthold Kempinski. Today the hotel chain is majority-owned by the Thai royal family and a 14% share belonging to the State of Bahrain.
Berthold Kempinski would certainly be very proud of 66 luxury hotels around the world. The future plans of the company, headed by Reto Wittwer, are highly ambitious: 62 new hotels over the next five years! This constitutes more than 15,000 new bathroom items, bed products, television sets, mini-bars, access controls and millions of other items which will be purchased to equip the upcoming Kempinski projects.
Fortunate are those companies and Sales Managers that know about these projects and have the right contacts, such as investors, architects, interior designers, operators and other involved persons, in place! All of this information is ready available at the push of a button – this permanent research job we are engaging in with enthusiasm and passion – day in, day out.
