With a mere three weeks left on the agenda prior to the start of the second annual MCE CEE, registrations are – with a short extension – closing today. Due to the ‘last minute’ rush that hit the event it was decided to remain open a few days longer, ensuring all interested to be able to take part.
Just before the end of the closing registration day now, we’re proud to announce a growth of more than 20 % in terms of hosted buyers as well as in participating Central & Eastern European solution providers. The growth lays much in countries within CEE that were not attending last year, showing an increased interest in the potential of the event but also in realizing the need to work towards better MICE future together with the CEE region.
We’re proud to announce the cooperation with the Sustainable Event Alliance (SEA), an organisation that strives to unite event professionals around the world through increased consideration for sustainability in event management. The MCE CEE conference bags and lanyards are all made from recycled materials whilst the badges are produced from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved paper. FSC makes sure that for each tree used for making paper there is a new tree replanted, making it very eco friendly.
The SEA’s presentation will be one of the many educational keynotes during the MCE CEE. Other topics which will be presented are, for example, Networking, Negotiations and The Science Behind Effective Meetings. The entire first block of the educational keynotes is completely dedicated to clarifying the advantages of meetings within the region.
