The 17th edition of MITM Americas, Meetings and Incentive Travel Market, took place in San Salvador, El Salvador, by the invitation of CORSATUR and the Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador, from November 16th to 18th.

To MITM in El Salvador attended, as hosted buyers, more than one hundred congresses, conferences, events and incentive travel organizers from 23 countries: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and the United States.

More than 70 travel companies and organizations participated as exhibitors, from 13 countries: Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Russia and the United States.
14 journalists from the business travel trade sector were present in MITM coming from 10 countries: Argentina, Colombia, Germany, Guatemala, Mexico, Russia, Spain, and the United States.

MITM programmed more than 3,000 individual meetings between exhibitors and hosted buyers. MITM estimates that these contacts will generate business of around 20.000.000 dollars in lodgings, restaurants, tours, shopping, etc. in future incentive, congresses, conferences and events groups just for the hosting venue, El Salvador.
