Meliá Hotels International has recently announced the addition of a new hotel in Wolfsburg, Germany, which will be operated by the Innside by Meliá brand, one of the best positioned and most valued by customers in the country.
Innside Wolfsburg, whose construction will start in 2012, is a modern four star hotel with 219 rooms, located in the heart of the city, next to the railway station in Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony. The hotel, which will be added to the Company under a lease contract, will also have a large conference area and a modern Sky Bar.
The property will be the twenty third hotel of Meliá Hotels International in Germany – which is the third country with the largest Spanish company’s presence – and the tenth of the Innside by Meliá brand. In addition, it is its second hotel in the city of Wolfsburg, where it already operates a TRYP by Wyndham hotel.
The Innside brand joined Meliá Hotels International in 2007 adding a number of hotels characterized by their urban and avant-garde nature to the company portfolio. Each of them has been designed by a different architect, focused on achieving guest satisfaction in modern urban settings. The German GBI AG has been appointed to design and develop this project, after collaborating with Meliá Hotels International in the Tryp Centro Oberhausen and TRYP Frankfurt hotels.
The rooms reflect the avant-garde image thanks to the use of different materials: steel and glass. In addition, the latest in communications equipment, fresh dinning options and a professional service for business guests define the essence of the brand Innside by Meliá.
