During this disaster days in Bangkok everybody is trying to help the victims. Here we show as an example how the company Bsab is supporting and helping in Pathumthani:
During a time of flood crisis in Thailand, BsaB has been doing their part in the community by producing and distributing 4000 (up from the original 1500) coconut floating candles filled with citronella soy wax- to help against mosquito’s- and other necessities, costing them around 4 million baht in total.
The BsaB team headed to Pathumthani , with the departure point being their flagship store in Thonglor. At 9 am, they were met by the mayor of Pathumthani and his CSR team and they spent the whole day combining their efforts in distributing food, water, medical supplies and necessities such as toothbrushes and essential toiletries. The focus of the supply distribution was around affected areas, gym halls and shelters that have been used as a refuge for those who have lost their homes.

BsaB are hand-making and delivering 100% natural candles ensuring beauty, wellbeing and comfort, simultaneously enhancing the sustainability of the earth and has been started in Thailand by Mr. Jonas Naim and Khun Pathompong Charoenwut.

Developed and manufactured in Thailand, the product range covers from soy and bamboo candles to essential oils to diffusers. Five of these products- Deep Summer, Himalayan Spice, Silence, Lemongrass and Verbeen- possess the Eco-certificate, obtained only in France, which guarantees 100% natural ingredients and no chemicals.

Research has shown that with the traditional use of paraffin wax candles, chemicals such as toluene and benzene have been released into the air when burnt- which may lead to cancer. The wick generally contains lead, zinc or tin, which helps the wick to stand vertically when melted. When burnt, the wick releases these chemicals into the air, and has potential hazards such as Metal Fume Fever.
BsaB candles and diffusers are chemical-free and wicks are unbleached. They use 100% sustainable materials, such as their Soy Bamboo Candle. The bamboo is obtained from family-owned bamboo farms in Northern Thailand where bamboo grows naturally and will grow back even after being cultivated. The refillable glass bottles for diffusers are made from reclaimed or recycled glass bottles, which have been collected on the street and refined.

Diffusers, BsaB’s second most major product uses aromatherapy grade essential oils or premium grade fragrance. This means there are no fillers, alcohol or chemical colors, which most diffusers in the market contain in order to reduce costs. The reed diffusers are all natural and replaceable, and the packaging is made entirely out of plants.
BsaB uses only Natural Packaging. Packaging is a common area where companies cut corners- but not BsaB. Its packaging includes a 100% recyclable paper tape. Plastic is substituted by a biodegradable polymer made from cornstarch. The ink used on the packaging is made from soy ink.
