This statement is from a german. Walter Gintschel is a specialist in Fast train and Underground public traffic. Before he moved to Bangkok he has worked and build the underground system in Guangzhou, China.
Walter lives now with his family in Bangkok and is specialist for the SRTET, which is the government company and operates the new high speed Airlink from Makassan Station to the airport

Tourism-Insider: How do you see the flood in your area ?
Walter : The major issue is you do not really know where, when and how many water will come. The Army is building additional blockage here and there to distribute the water as much as possible to low flooded areas especially outside Bangok like Pathumtani / Lamlukka.

Tourism-Insider: How is your company SRTET infected ?
Walter: Many staff is already directly or indirectly (family, friends) effected and the way to work is often very time consuming now because roads are blocked.
Tourism-Insider: What is your company doing ?
Walter: We allow the staff to stay even with the family on company properties with their familily even park the car at a save place.
Tourism-Insider: Do you have any activities to help your staff?
Walter: We allow the public to use our station at special marked high ground to stay there if required.
Tourism-Insider: Your personal opinion , just in some words.
Walter: Personal I think the public announcements in English is very rare and can be done better. Especially where to move or what to do if water rises or comes to several areas. English maps in regards to water level or high ground are difficult to find.
