PATA, the Bangkok based Marketing – Research and Promotion Organisation for the Asia Pacific Region is organizing three important events for the Tourism Industry in the next year:

The PATA Annual Meeting 2012, April 20 – 22, 2012 , will be at Putrajaya, Malaysia
In this new Government Area of Kuala Lumpur the whole Tourism Industry from Asia will meet and discuss with their guests and members from around the world. Malaysia Airlines and the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board together with the Government will be the important host and supporter. Besides the conference they will organize famtrips and tours to promote Malaysia to the world.

The PATA Travel Mart 2012, September 25 – 28, 2012, will be held at SMX Convention Center, Manila ,Philippines.
Manila hosted the very first PATA Travel Mart back in 1978, where over 300 delegates assembled to experience Asia Pacific’s first industry trade event. On September 25-28, 2012, PATA Travel Mart returns to Manila. It will be held at the SMX Convention Center, the largest private venue in the Philippines and one of the flagship establishments of the country’s MICE industry.

The PATA Adventure Travel and Responsible Tourism Conference and Mart 2012 (AT&RTCM 2012), February 3 – 7, 2012, will be at Zhiwa Ling Hotel, Paro, Bhutan
PATA Adventure Travel and Responsible Tourism Conference and Mart 2012 (AT&RTCM2012) is a four-day event that brings together people involved in adventure travel and responsible tourism to discuss creating new opportunities for promoting environmental protection and social sustainability within the industry.
The PATA AT&RTCM 2012 will be held in the historic town of Paro in the south west of Bhutan. Paro boasts of numerous sacred sites and historical buildings that would pique the interest of adventure travellers. It is also home to the Paro Valley, recognised to be one of the most beautiful places in Bhutan.
