airberlin’s summer flight schedule 2012 will offer more business flight connections on key routes. For that purpose, Germany’s second-largest airline company will increase its flight frequency to the hubs in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Vienna, thus improving the connection between them.
In the German capital, especially the flight connections to the Nordic countries will be expanded. The flight frequency on the routes between Berlin and Stockholm, Göteborg, Oslo and Copenhagen will be increased from two to three flights on weekdays. By re-organizing the flight plan, these flights will be scheduled for off-peak times, thus creating optimum connections for business travellers.

This flight schedule adaptation will provide additional transfer options: It will now be even easier to reach the Scandinavian countries via Berlin. This applies in particular to passengers travelling from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Additional flights will also be available from Berlin and Düsseldorf to Vienna and from Düsseldorf to Venice.

The expansion of the hubs will make airberlin’s flights more accessible to our codeshare partners. Since the beginning of the year, airberlin has already been able to register approximately 100,000 bookings by customers of the codeshare partners. The optimized hub structure will offer passengers on American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia, S7 and Finnair access to even more connections to destinations in Europe.

The summer flight schedule starts on 1st May 2012 and ends on 31st October 2012.
