The charm of a land of intense beauty in the words of the President of Gal (Local Action Group) Lomellina, Mr. Giorgio Guardamagna

Among the objectives of Gal, it is not marginal to highlight the tourism potential of Lomellina and bring it strongly to the consideration of a wider audience as a part of the territory of our province that has a high potential and deserve the success that we wish to obtain, thanks to our work.The landscape of Lomellina is itself a resource and an asset: its preservation is a fundamental goal to encourage the recent revival of tourism in a territory which aims to affirm itself.
The water, the land, the rice fields, the heronries, the forests: a constant stream connects the wonderful Lomellina nature; in past centuries, men have changed the environment, working hard to make it suited to their needs but always respecting it: a way to act in harmony with nature, which with us has been generous with gifts of all the water.
Lomellina, however, is also a land of beauty and culture of memory: churches, farmhouses, castles and rivers, they all contribute to make this place so rich in its simplicity and testimonial of time passing to remind the past history.
Our hope and our commitment is to bring out these resources and welome a higher and higher number of visitors who come to admire and enjoy the hospitality which for us is the value of civil life rather than source of profitability.
We are confident that Lomellina will be prepared to this new challenge, as it has always done on important moments. The time is right for the development of a land that takes account of this sensitivity and grows over the years: Gal Lomellina spends itself for this new order, working alongside the farmers and private entrepreneurs who own accommodation properties and want and provide the public with a tourist and educational offer of excellence.
Our guests will certainly appreciate these efforts and what we have to share with them. We therefore await the start of this season with enthusiasm and hope to see our work bear fruit of these years.
