Achievement of international visitor arrival to Indonesia the total number of overseas visitors arrivals to Indonesia rose from 7 million during the period January – December 2010, an increase of 11,23 % over the same periods last year 2009., with the total revenue reached US Dollar 7,636 billions by the expenditure of visitor per visit at least US Dollar 1,085. The increasing number of visitors was supported by the successful programme of “ Visit Indonesia Year”. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia has already got prestigious award tourism appreciation from MURi of Jakarta, December  2010. The award is a symbol of acknowledgment of prestigious achievement on vistor arrivals.

With regard to the achievement of visitors arrival 2010, Indonesia has optimically targeted 7,7 million for 2011. This becomes a challenge for the tourism industry  of the country to optimally increase better services. This year as well Indonesia will host the ASEAN Summit in Jakarta & Bali. There will be a lot of other higher level meetings to follow. In 2012, Indonesia will be the next host of ATF 2012 which will staged in Manado, North-Sulawesi. Indonesia  would like to utilize this auspicious occasion to announce two important news for all:

ATF is schedule  from Januar  9 – 15, 2012

The theme of ATF 2012 is “ Asean Tourism for a Global Community of Nations”. This theme is in line with the central theme of the ASEAN Summit.

However , that Indonesia still leaves 17.000 plus Islands to explore which are perfectly safe- including the most popular leisure destination ; Bali – the Island of gods.

The Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Tourism is determined to take full advantage of the ATF Travel Exchange ( TRAVEX) business and networking oppurtunities. Entering 2011 with a new Indonesian logo and tagline which “ Wonderfull Indonesia” under the theme of “ Eco, Culture and MICE”, Indonesia offers everything for all the partners from all over the world know very well.
