The UN WTO organized this year a World Tourism Day in Guangzhou, China. The province Government and the Tourism Authority of China have organized a lot of meetings and activities. Tourism-Insiders editor-in –chief Joachim Fischer (Berlin) is attending this event in south china. In the framework of this global event he was invited by the heads of the School of Tourism Management of the well-known Sun Yat-Sen University.

In this meeting both sides, the academic side from the university and Joachim Fischer are discussing a stronger cooperation.
Tourism-insider and Joachim Fischer should bring the “International Tourism Marketing” and also MarCom, PR and Destination Marketing to the students. Around 700 young Chinese people are studying at the school.
