The American international hotel group Hilton has confirmed the opening of their new hotels around the world. Two more hotels will be coming to the German capital of Berlin, making it a total of three hotels operated by Hilton in this city.
Conrad Dubai – Conrad Hotels & Resorts – United Arab Emirates – December 2010: Situated in a prime location in the heart of Dubai’s commercial, business and entertainment district, Conrad Dubai will feature 550 luxury guest and executive floor rooms and suites. It will also offer 30 meeting rooms and a fully equipped business center, two ballrooms, which will accommodate 1,100 and 500-800 guests, three innovative restaurants and bars, a spa and health club with an outdoor swimming pool. Conrad Dubai will be strategically located on Sheikh Zaved Road, just 20 minutes from the Dubai International Airport. The luxurious Conrad Dubai will be placed just minutes from the Dubai World Trade Centre, International Convention Centre, Dubai International Financial Centre and the Metro System Station.
Conrad Koh Samui Resort & Spa – Conrad Hotels & Resorts – Thailand – December 2010: Scheduled to open in 2010, Conrad Koh Samui Resort and Spa will be the newest luxury villa property on the popular Thai island. The resort will set new standards for spa resorts on the ever popular island of Koh Samui. Comprising 79 villas and 39 Conrad Residential villas, the Conrad Koh Samui Resort and Spa will be located on a secluded hill, overlooking Aow Thai Beach at the South West tip of the island. Spread over 25 acres, the luxurious Conrad Koh Samui Resort and Spa will offer panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand, outlying islands and the surrounding landscape of lush coconut plantations. It is also a perfect western-facing vantage point where guests will take-in the stunning Koh Samui sunsets. Each of the villas will have a minimum of 200 square meters of space, complete with a private plunge pool and a generous outdoor sundeck area that enables panoramic vistas. To complement the high-end luxury experience synonymous with the Conrad name, there will be a variety of all-day dining and fine-dining restaurants, bars and lounges. The resort’s spa will combine international treatments with a uniquely Thai spa philosophy and design accents. Meeting and business centre facilities will also offer first class service and amenities for business travelers and the meetings business segment (MICE) looking to experience smaller-scale, exclusive events.
Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay – Conrad Hotels & Resorts – China – Q1 2011: Scheduled to open in 2011, on the Hainan Islands, dubbed the “Hawaii of China,” Hainan Island’s tropical climate, clear blue waters and white sandy beaches attract visitors from all across the globe. The Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay will feature 101 luxurious resort villas on a prime site along the 20 kilometer sandy Haitang Bay Beach, in close proximity to an 18-hole golf course. For dining, guests will be able to choose from three exclusive restaurants and beach dining as well as an intimate wine cellar. The resort will cater to luxury travellers with various recreational facilities including tennis courts, a swimming pool, spa, health club and a kids club.
Conrad Dalian – Conrad Hotels & Resorts – China – Q2 2011: Scheduled to open in 2011, in Dalian, one of China’s most affluent cities with a colorful past as an imperial port outpost established in the Qing Dynasty. The Conrad Dalian will feature 210 well appointed guest rooms, occupying the top floors of a 35-story tower. The tower will be located on a waterfront site in the Dalian Central Business District, featuring an international conference center, art galleries, retail boutiques, theatre along with a cruise terminal and yacht club. Guests will be invited to enjoy a Chinese specialty restaurant, lobby lounge, and bar with skyline vistas, contemporary meeting and business facilities with the latest technology, and a health club, swimming pool and spa.
Ubud – Conrad Hotels & Resorts – Indonesia – Q4 2011: Scheduled to open December 1, 2011, Conrad Bali Resort & Spa will be located on the southern coast of Bali, on 6.8 acres of secluded tropical gardens and lagoons with lush waterfalls as well as a spectacular 300 meter beach. In addition to its top of the line amenities, Conrad Bali and Resort & Spa is only a twenty minute car ride from Ngurah Rai International airport. Each of the resort’s 313 deluxe guest rooms and suites will be inspired by contemporary Balinese architecture and will overlook the ocean, lagoons or gardens. 20 private villas will be surrounded by gardens and lagoons as well and will feature private pools.
Seoul IFC – Conrad Hotels & Resorts – South Korea – Q4 2011: Overlooking the Han River and nestled amongst the headquarters of Korean enterprises, Seoul IFC will offer guests sweeping views of the city skyline. Seoul IFC will feature 446 guest room and suits which will be comprised of three office towers, a Cineplex, luxury mall, as well as extensive dining and leisure areas. Located in the acclaimed International Financial Center of Seoul, Seoul IFC will encompass more than 3,100 square meters of meeting space which will be supported by state-of-the-art technology. There will also be two ballrooms with 2,100 square meters of space which will enable large scale conferences as well as high-end social gatherings. For dining, guests will be invited to choose from three top of the line restaurants, a lobby lounge and bar.
The Beach House Maldives, The Waldorf Astoria Collection – Manafaru Island Maldives – March 2010: Beach House Maldives, The Waldorf Astoria Collection, is located on the pristine, lagoon-ringed Haa Alifu Atoll which is fringed by powder-white beaches and complemented with an unspoiled jungle-filled interior. The 35-acre resort comprises 83 Maldivian-style villas, comprised of contemporary thatched villas including Beach Villas, Water Villas, Ocean Villas, one Grand Water Pavilion and a Grand Beach Pavilion. Each villa comes complete with a private pool and a butler to attend to every need. Waldorf Astoria Shanghai On The Bund – China – March 2010: Located directly in the financial and commercial hub of China, Shanghai On The Bund will feature a 266-room oasis of luxury which will feature four unique restaurants, two bars, a patisserie and a lobby lounge. The newest Waldorf Astoria addition will be comprised of two buildings including the main entrance at the heritage building, which previously housed the infamous Shanghai Gentleman’s Club in the 1920’s, and a new modern tower. Other amenities include a swimming pool, health club and spa, and conference room facilities. The area is also home to a multitude of up-market restaurants, luxury hotels, and haute couture boutiques which can be accessed walking distance as well as via the metro.

Waldorf Astoria Berlin – Germany – 2011: Situated in a prime position in the western part of Germany’s capital city – near Bahnof Zoo train station and adjacent to a metro station – the luxurious Waldorf Astoria Berlin will be located close to many of Berlin’s attractions, including the popular Kurfürstendamm shopping district. The 31 storey hotel will feature over 1,100 square metres of dedicated conference and meeting facilities, in addition to a lavish spa and wellness area, a stylish restaurant and bar and on-site parking. It is anticipated that the hotel’s central location combined with excellent transport links to rail, bus and airports, will be a key appeal for both business and leisure visitors. The Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem – Israel – 2011: The historic property with its 220 rooms and suites is situated in one of Jerusalem’s key locations, at the intersection of King David, Agron and Mamila Streets, just steps from the Old City. Built in 1929, the impressive structure is currently undergoing an extensive renovation programme, which will see the historic facade of intricate stone carvings and decorative arches fully restored, as well as a complete rebuilding of the interior. The hotel will offer 220 spacious suites and guestrooms, with facilities including a choice of three restaurants, a 500m2 spa and fitness facility with pool, in addition to extensive conference and meeting facilities and on-site parking.
