A beautiful film needs a beautiful ambiance to be judged in. Mr Obertop, General Manager at Hotel Breidenbacher Hof is looking forward to host the jury of the international tourism film competition “the Golden City Gate”. Breidenbacher Hof, which belongs to Capella Hotels, is one of Duesseldorf’s leading luxury hotels on the Königsallee.

Last year, 45 international judges from politics, economy, and the arts, as well as ambassadors, hotel managers and city marketing experts judged 95 films submitted by 34 countries.

The Diamond Award, honoring the best film out of all categories, was awarded to the city of Berlin for its image film “Berlin”, produced by Berlin-Tourismus Marketing. The Langham Hotel Hong Kong was awarded the “Golden City Gate” in gold for its creative web presence.
