No less than 14 “competiting colleagues” from Maastricht & surrounding area, together with the Maastricht Convention Bureau, will be on the road throughout The Netherlands. They will be visiting approximately 35 companies to present Maastricht & surrounding area as a destination for corporate meetings and conventions.

“In 2009, we mainly visited the larger cities in the west of The Netherlands. This time, we will be visiting other cities as well,” states Tamara Weide, Sales Manager Meetings & Incentives of the Maastricht Convention Bureau. “We will all be ‘crossing’ throughout the whole country to show planners of meetings, conventions and incentives, how attractive and nearby Maastricht & surrounding area actually is. The planners are more than happy to welcome us at their office; due to the fact that we visit them as a group, they get a broad presentation of the meeting, incentive and convention possibilities with just one visit. They really experience these visits as unique.”

Together with 14 “competiting colleagues”, Tamara Weide (left) and Sonja Speth of the Maastricht Convention Bureau will be selling Maastricht & surrounding area throughout the whole Netherlands.
