At 2.15 p.m. today, an aircraft carrying a team of doctors, as well as relief supplies from humedica e.V., Kindernothilfe e.V., World Vision e.V. and LandsAid e.V. embarked on its flight to Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic) from Düsseldorf. The Airbus A330-200 (flight number AB1400) will land in Puerto Plata at 7.15 p.m. local time, delivering 20 volunteers from the various relief organizations, along with 32.5 tonnes of relief supplies. The special flight was made possible in part by the active support from Düsseldorf Airport, Air BP and Total Deutschland.
