November 15, 2009 marks another round of the annual swim through Pattaya Bay themed “Swim for Clean Water”. As in the five years before, Rotary Club Jomtien-Pattaya will again be staging the competition for a good cause: All returns from the race will be used to install clean drinking water facilitites in schools in Thailand. Participants can choose from two distances, the first being 1.1 kilometers and the second 3 kilometers long. The short route starts out at Hardrock Hotel, while the long route begins at Bali Hai Sea Rescue Station, crossing the bay in its entirety. Both routes end at Chaba Beach where the competitors will be welcomed with a sumptuous buffet at Dusit Thani Hotel.
