As the 14th East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition-EMITT prepares to open its doors once again at Istanbul TÜYAP Fair, Convention and Congress Center in Beylikdüzü between the dates of 11-14 February 2010, Egypt, the guest country of the fair, has already started to promote itself to Turkish people from up close. Organizing festivities at Taksim Gezi Park to last for three days, Egypt aims to both share the joy of Ramadan with Turkish people and display the beauties of its country.

Recognizing Turkey as an extremely important market with a large potential in tourism, Egypt plans to serve traditional Egyptian drinks such as Karkade after “iftar” during September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Egypt, Visitors will also witness the famous Egyptian pyramids at Taksim Gezi Park while they are presented a visual feast of famous Tanora dance.

Egypt is going to participate at the EMITT fair with the motto “Egypt has it all!”, The guest country is also giving away a single-person holiday to Egypt to one lucky winner each day by holding a lottery for those who show up at the festivity area and complete a form. All expenses of the holiday will be covered by the Egyptian Tourism Authority, while transportation will be provided by Egyptian Airways.
