Frankfurt – It seems like this year’s Formula 1 TM SingTel Singapore Grand Prix will be able to catch up to the outstanding success of 2008. Despite the ubiquitous global economic crisis, tickets are in great demand. Especially those for the Paddock Club – the exclusive Formula 1 area with access to the pit lane – are greatly sought-after, with 60% already sold out. Seeing how the tickets have only been available since February 6 and are already in such high demand, fans of Formula 1 should quickly secure theirs.

In addition to tickets for the Paddock Club, there is also a high demand for tickets to the Sky and Club Suites. 40% of these lounge areas featuring an exclusive view of the race track have already been booked. The organizer of the Formula 1 night race, Singapore GP, has been offering a so-called hospitality package since February 2. It includes the sought-after tickets to the Sky and Club areas, as well as to the Paddock Club for all three days of the race. The package comes at EUR 1,700 to EUR 4,000.

“Given the current economic realities we are greatly encouraged by the very strong support we have received. In addition to the Sky and Club Suites, there is the lower-priced alternative called The Green Room. This area will be especially popular with companies seeking to use it as an incentive to thank their clients“, said Darren Chen, head of the corporate sales team of Singapore GP.

Singapore GP holds all exclusive rights to the sales of these tickets. Accordingly, companies seeking to secure one of the packages should order tickets at either +65 6731 5900 or hospitality@singaporegp.sg. The regular tickets are expected to be available from late March on. Detailed information will be available in mid-March at singaporegp.sg.
