Starting in 2010, luxury hotel brand Langham will manage a boutique hotel in the midst of the award-winning wine hills of Waiheke Island in New Zealand. The exquisite cuisine of „The Dining Room“ will thus be mentioned as one of only 16 awarded regional restaurants in 2009’s issue of the „Michelin Guide of Los Angeles“. The prize is awarded in consideration of criteria such as quality of ingredients, masterful cooking for flawless taste, uniqueness of culinary art, balanced price-performance ratio and consistency of quality over several visits. The culinary creations of kitchen chef Craig Strong are influenced by his work with prize-winning master chefs in France and Spain. Using modern and classic methods, Strong has since developed his own, exclusive style in the realm of the modern American cuisine, and managed to satisfy the Michelin testers for the second time.
Dining in style in Boston: Opening of lifestyle restaurant „Bond“
The opening of the „Bond Restaurant + Lounge“ is the newest highlight of „The Langham“ in Boston. The new trend location was furnished by international star architect Jeffrey Beers in the historic Federal Reserve Bank building of 1922. The design combines the building’s history with modern culture. Walls over 7.5 meters high, strong colors, comfortable lounge style seating units, as well as an exceptional lighting concept characterize the new unique restaurant in the city’s financial district. Business lunch, creative sandwiches, afternoon tea, innovative cocktails and dinners are offered until two o’clock at night, seven days a week. A music stylist provides pleasant live lounge music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
