Veranda Resorts will take over the Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort starting middle of December 2008.

With the newly gained hotel, the group expands its portfolio to 686 rooms. Veranda Resorts are thus strengthening their position as one of the most important hotel companies on Mauritius. The two 5-star properties (Heritage and Le Telfair) are now to extend the upmarket section.

As early as 2004, the Heritage Golf & Spa Resort and the Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort assisted each other in order to develop Bel Ombre into a significant recreational and visitor region. The unification now allows for the realization of new synergies in the southern part of Bel Ombre with the Heritage Golf & Spa Resort, Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, Le Golf du Chateau, Le Chateau del Bel Ombre and the Valriche nature reserve.

All contracts with organizers remain valid until expiration. The Le Telfair team will be transferred over to Veranda Resorts to provide constancy of its established relations.
