(Stralsund, 24. November 2008) The confusion over the hotel marketing firm Suite No. 3 is getting increasingly bigger. According to the insolvency court in Stralsund, no application for the initiation of insolvency proceedings has been filed yet. Director Sebastian Tacke, on the other hand, had announced just this in an e-mail to his hotel partners. On November 14, 2008, Tacke informed his hotel partners: „It is painful to accept one’s own failure. I must hereby notify you that Suite No. 3 GmbH will file an application for the initiation of insolvency proceedings on short notice. Complying with our request, eBay just cancelled any offers listed by us. I am sorry that it is no longer possible for us to further follow our business model. The yet to be assigned insolvency administrator will notify you as to how you can file your open claims.“
Several buyers of hotel vouchers report on the Hotel Blog that they either could not redeem vouchers at the hotel, or could not obtain a voucher in the first place or didn’t receive answers to inquiries.
Tacke recently refused a statement regarding a press inquiry with the explanation: „The depiction in the media is too selective in my eyes.“ He does not see a chance for his former business field, the marketing of hotel vouchers at ebay.de: „I think there is no bright future for the current system at eBay. A while ago, we presented eBay with a concept to develop the voucher market into a travel market. EBay, referring to the accountability of eBay USA, unfortunately did not support this.“
