Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) recently joined hands with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited to promote Thailand as a quality leisure destination at a networking session that was held in Berlin, Germany during the “Internationale Tourismus Börse” (ITB) 2016.
Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana Mahidol recently visited the Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) booth at ITB’s Asia Pavilion and was welcomed by Mr. Pricha Nawongs together with THAI Management from Frankfurt and Munich.
Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira, THAI President, said that “as the national carrier, THAI is the first contact point in the Kingdom of Thailand, and I can assure you that we are doing our utmost to bring more of Thailand to the world and the world to Thailand. In order to fully position Bangkok as the aviation hub and to fully serve as the ASEAN gateway, THAI is positioned to take full advantage of our capacity together with an increasing number of partners and alliances to achieve this goal.”
Currently, THAI has a total of 95 aircraft in the fleet which operates to 75 destinations in 30 countries worldwide. Together with its global partners and alliances, THAI is able to offer more than 1,850 flights per week radiating to over 140 destinations in 55 countries covering five continents.
In addition, THAI emphasized the importance of consistent product development based on customer satisfaction on product and competitiveness with state-of-the-art services that meet customer needs.
