Raising the Profile of Silk Road Destinations on the international market
Organized by the Silk Road Programme of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and supported by ITB Berlin. On Thursday 7th March 2013 – 11.00-13.00, at the Palais West, ITB Berlin

The Silk Road, a rich mosaic of tourism destinations of around 30 countries, offers an exceptionally diverse range of experiences for travelers. Yet little is known about the profile of the Silk Road traveler, which makes it difficult for destinations to effectively implement marketing campaigns, develop attractive products and increase yield from Silk Road tourism.
This forum will be an opportunity for Silk Road tour operators to share knowledge, experience and perspectives on key topics, such as market intelligence, joint product development or cooperative marketing. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn how stakeholders can join forces to create a better business environment for raising the profile of the Silk Road.
Registration is free: register online or fill in your details in the form and email them to silkroad@unwto.org
