THE 16TH EDITION OF MITM EUROMED AND THE 4TH OF CULTOURFAIR IN GRANADA, SPAIN, ENDED WITH RESOUNDING SUCCESS
The 16th edition of MITM Euromed, Meetings and Incentive Travel Market, and the 4th of CULTOURFAIR, International Cultural Travel Fair, began in Granada, Spain, with an exceptional and exclusive welcome reception at the Alhambra, offered by Ms. Maria del Mar Villafranca, General Director of the Council of Alhambra and Generalife.

Its election as a oneworld member designate was announced today at a press conference in New York – home of oneworld’s central alliance management office – with senior executives of Qatar Airways and the alliance’s established member airlines in attendance.
Qatar Airways, named Airline of the Year for the past two years by the Skytrax independent airline quality rating agency, is the first of the three major airlines based in the Gulf to sign for any of the global airline alliances. It is also the second largest full service airline in the world not, until today, aligned to one of big global airline alliances.

AirAsia was again hailed as the ‘Best Asian Low-Cost Carrier’ award winner by TTG, Asia-Pacific’s leading travel news publisher, at the 23rd Annual TTG Travel Awards in Bangkok recently.
The airline retained its top spot for the sixth time, with the preceding accolade received in 2011.

Malaysia Airlines Introduces Double Daily A380 Services to London – Paris route also goes A380 effective 1 March 2013. Malaysia Airlines is pleased to announce the introduction of its double daily Airbus A380 flights on the Kuala Lumpur-London return route effective 24 November 2012, increasing the weekly seat capacity by 16%, from 5971 to 6916 in each direction.
This double daily service will be inaugurated after the national carrier receives another two of the six A380s by end of this month.
