New hall for congresses during renovation of the ICC Berlin

The congress and exhibition metropolis Berlin is expanding with a further event hall. This will also be used for conferences from 2014 to 2016, since the International Congress Center ICC Berlin will be closed for refurbishment during this period. The new hall is set to be completed by the end of 2013 in place of the Deutschlandhalle. After the ICC Berlin re-opens, Berlin will then have access to almost twice as much congress space.

With only a matter of days until EIBTM (www.eibtm.com), some of the world’s most influential industry organisations have announced that they are to hold events in Barcelona during EIBTM (30 November – 2 December 2010) to make the most of their attendance at the exhibition. EIBTM has provided the seed funding to set up Project Meeting Architecture, where part of this sponsorship will see the first annual board meeting taking place during EIBTM in Barcelona.
