The excited speaker told his guests, among them the Mayor of Jerusalem, Mr. Nir Barkat, and the CEO of the International Convention Center, Mira Altman, that five years ago, when he opened the fund to small and medium investors, everyone was skeptical. Now OurCrowd has 25,000 investors, who do not have to own capital, from 112 countries around the world, who invested $ 650 million in 8,500 companies.
He said that even in the current technological era there is no substitute for a face-to-face interaction between the investor and the company, and he called on thousands of investors to go to every corner at the ICC building and meet those who expect an investment.

Immediately after the opening plenary, thousands of business cards were exchanged and investors were given the opportunity to get a face-to-face impression from the representatives of the companies and start-ups they believe in.

Next month a new train line will start to operate from the Tel Aviv and the airport to Jerusalem. That means exciting conferences and events are going to happen here since Jerusalem will only be 28 minutes from Tel Aviv and the airport.
