Not a history buff? Then head over to the Kudremukh National Park which is in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka. Kudremukh is a trekker’s paradise with a number of tracks winding through the rolling hills.
The Kadambi Waterfalls is also one of the major attractions of Kudremukh National Park.
Visitors can enjoy the beautiful sights of flora and fauna at their own strides. The park also boasts about 195 species of birds including the Malabar trogon, Malabar whistling thrush, great pied hornbill and the imperial pigeon. The Malabar giant squirrel, common langur, sloth bear, spotted deer, jackal, giant flying squirrel and the mongoose are amongst the many beautiful animals present in their natural habitat, much to the delight of park visitors.
