Flying with airberlin is now even more comfortable – that was the reaction of Berlin’s Governing Mayor and Iris Gleicke, MdB Parliamentary State Secretary, on the airberlin stand at ITB in Berlin. To coincide with the International Travel Trade Show in Berlin to trade visitors, Berlin’s Governing Mayor, Michael Müller, and Iris Gleicke, MdB Parliamentary State Secretary, visited the airberlin stand in Hall 25. They could try and smile – but not start because the new airport in Berlin is coming maybe………..
On the stand, Götz Ahmelmann, Chief Commercial Officer, and Ralf Kunkel, Head of Corporate Communications at airberlin, presented the new Business Class, whose comfort was immediately tested by Michael Müller.
The first Airbus A330-200 with a further improved Business Class will take off in April. The comfortable FullFlat seats that recline to a 180-cm sleeping surface will be successively replaced by a new model, which offers more storage space, thus providing passengers with greater travel comfort. The new Business Class also has a surprising colour palette: the seats are in an elegant black with leather accents.
